The World of Pediatrics is a warm, family-centered pediatric practice looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Medical Assistant (CMA/LPN/RN required) to join our team.
This position is primarily front office–focused, playing a key role in patient experience and daily operations. While cross-training in clinical duties is expected, this is not a pathway-to-back-office role. We’re seeking someone who genuinely enjoys administrative and patient-facing work, while remaining flexible enough to support the clinical team when needed.
What You’ll Do
Front Office Responsibilities (Primary Focus)
- Welcome and check in patients, ensuring a smooth and positive experience
- Schedule appointments and manage daily patient flow
- Verify demographics and insurance; collect payments (strong math skills required)
- Answer phones, manage patient communication, and document encounters (typing and computer proficiency essential)
- Handle administrative tasks such as reporting, faxing, scanning, and document management
Back Office Support (As Needed)
- Room patients and take vital signs
- Assist with swabs, vaccines, and basic clinical procedures
- Support providers with labs, referrals, and care coordination
- Perform phlebotomy (preferred, not required)
What We’re Looking For
- CMA certification or higher (LPN/RN) – required
- Strong front office experience – required
- Medical office and EMR experience required
- Pediatric experience and knowledge of ECW/Phreesia – preferred
- Ability to balance administrative priorities with occasional clinical support
- Tech-savvy, organized, and a collaborative team player with a positive attitude

- Must support childhood immunizations and keep up-to-date with personal immunizations
- Immediate availability required
- Must live within a reasonable commute (ideally 30–45 minutes during rush hour)
