What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dog Handler/ Lead position at The Woof Dog Daycare and Boarding?
Tasks include: Cleaning , poop patrol and supervising playgroups.
The Ideal candidate will be a complete and total dog lover, no matter shape size or breed! We are looking for a team players who aren't afraid to get hands dirty! Candidates must be quick on their feet, great at multitasking, able to keep a positive and encouraging attitude in a fast paced atmosphere, and able to improvise and adapt to anything the dogs throw at us! Candidates must have a flexible schedule and be able to work weekends and holidays, as well as reliable transportation, be able to stand for prolonged periods of time, have excellent verbal and written communication skills. If you are put off by smelly odors, sticky hands or slobber, this is not the job for you. If you are stressed out by unexpected or high energy, this job is not for you. BUT....If you love dogs, if you love being outside, if you love to learn, this job is definitely for you! REQUIREMENTS: must be able to work on your feet for 8 hours, and have one year of either professional or volunteer dog experience.
