Grocery/Cashier Associate — Full-Time or Part-Time

Starting Pay: $16–$18 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule

What You’ll Do

Our Grocery/Cashier team is both the face of the Market and an essential part of keeping our shelves filled with the amazing products that make us unique.

In this role, you will:

Provide friendly, extra-mile service throughout the store

Operate registers and create a smooth, accurate checkout experience

Carefully bag groceries and assist customers with carrying purchases to their vehicles

Stock, price, rotate, face, and merchandise products

Complete opening and closing responsibilities accurately

Help receive and organize inventory as needed

Keep work areas clean, organized, safe, and sanitary

Learn about our products so you can help customers find something they’ll love

You’ll be part customer-service professional, part merchandiser, and part product expert!

What We’re Looking For

Must be at least 16 years old

Friendly, dependable, and comfortable helping customers

Able to work independently and as part of a team

Good basic computer and math skills

Strong attention to detail

Willingness to follow all safety, sanitation, and housekeeping procedures

Physical Requirements

With or without reasonable accommodation, employees must be able to:

Frequently lift, lower, and carry items weighing up to 40 pounds

Remain on their feet for extended periods

Walk throughout the store, between buildings, and in outdoor areas

Push, pull, grasp, reach, bend, and stock products regularly
