Grocery/Cashier Associate

Starting Pay Range: $16 to $18 Depending on Experience

One weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) is preferred each week. If you’re available both Saturday and Sunday—even better! Please note that holidays and the summer season are our busiest times, so we do need advance planning and a strong commitment during these peak periods.

In Summary:

Our Grocery/Cashier team is both the face of the Market and a key part of keeping our shelves full of the amazing products that make us unique. You’ll interact with customers throughout the store and at checkout, so your friendly service, accuracy, and upbeat attitude help create a great experience every time someone walks through our doors. In this role, you’ll run the registers, bag groceries, and assist customers as needed—including helping carry bags out to cars—while also helping stock, price, and merchandise products on the floor. The mission of our grocery department is to bring really great food to our community, including items customers won’t always find in a traditional market, so you’ll be part merchandiser and part product expert while keeping things clean, organized, and well-stocked.

Extra-mile service

Operate registers and deliver a smooth checkout experience (including thoughtful bagging)

Complete opening & closing responsibilities accurately

Stock, bulk, and merchandise product daily (pricing, facing, rotating)

Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary environment (including support with inventory receiving as needed)

Requirements:

Must be 16 years or older

Good computer and math skills

MAINTAINING A CLEAN & SANITARY WORK ENVIRONMENT

Follow all safety and health protocols | Housekeeping is important | Tidy up your workspace regularly | Wipe down frequently touched surfaces | Pick up items on the floor that could be trip/fall hazards.
