NO experience? Apply anyway and we will train you.
You do not need five years of restaurant experience to work at The Woodshed.
We would rather hire someone with personality, hustle, dependability, and pride in their work and teach them how to serve than hire someone with experience and the wrong attitude.
The Woodshed is busy. We have a strong base of regular customers, a lot of new faces coming through the door, and a crew that works hard. When we're busy, we move. When somebody needs help, we help them.
We're looking for people who show up when they're scheduled, treat customers well, take pride in what they do, and want to make good money.
What you'll do:
- Take care of guests from the time they sit down until they leave
- Take food and drink orders and enter them into our SpotOn POS system
- Serve food, beer, cocktails, and other beverages
- Learn our menu and help guests find something they'll love
- Keep your tables and work areas clean
- Work with the kitchen, bartenders, and other servers to keep things moving
- Help your teammates when things get busy
- Learn how to turn good service into great tips
What we're looking for:
Experience is welcome. It is not required.
We want people who:
- Show up
- Have personality
- Hustle
- Are dependable
- Take pride in their work
- Treat customers and coworkers with respect
- Want to learn
- Understand that when the restaurant gets busy, everybody works
What you get:
- $12.50/hour starting wage plus tips
- Typical server earnings of $25-$40/hour with tips
- Full-time or part-time opportunities
- Flexible scheduling
- Paid training
- Employee meals
- Employee discounts
- Opportunity to learn bartending and grow into other positions
We treat our crew like family, but family still has expectations.
We work hard. We have fun. We take care of each other. Complaining, negativity, and tearing down the people around you have no place here.
The Woodshed is different. We believe we're the best at what we do, and we work every day to prove it.
If you've served for years, we'd like to meet you.
If you've never carried a tray in your life but you're dependable, good with people, willing to hustle, and ready to learn, we'd like to meet you too.
Apply. Come talk to us.
