What are the responsibilities and job description for the Child Care Worker position at The Woodlands First Baptist Church- North Campus?
Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
- Plan and implement age- appropriate activities and curriculum
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and naptime
- Assist with toileting and diapering as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom or play area
- Communicate with parents about their child’s day and any concerns or updates
- Follow all health and safety guidelines and maintain proper documentation
Experience:
- Previous experience in a childcare setting preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Ability to provide attentive and compassionate care to children of all ages
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques
- Understanding of childhood development milestones
- Experience with toddler care and potty training is a plus
- Knowledge of special education strategies beneficial
- Strong classroom management
Skills:
- Classroom Management

- First Aid/ CPR Certification is required
