POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for various kitchen cleaning and storage activities such as dish and pot washing, general kitchen cleaning, and the storing of food and non-food supplies. Assist with food preparation when necessary.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Able to work in a senior housing environment which meets or exceeds hospitality and service standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, walk-in refrigerator, and walk-in freezer.
- Maintain stock in all areas of kitchen, keeping items neat and orderly.
- Responsible for set-up and in-house maintenance of dish and pot washing areas.
- Maintain or exceed standards of appearance, cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards.
- Practice all safety and loss prevention procedures.
- Attend all in-services as required.
- Ability to receive and check-in deliveries against invoices.
- Able to work on Holidays, and for pre-planned special events.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
- Perform all other reasonable tasks assigned by your supervisor.

Educational Requirements and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be able to read and write.
- Follow instructions with a positive attitude
