Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and swiftly
- Deliver excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction
- Handle cash and credit card transactions with precision, ensuring proper cash handling and register balancing
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food preparation zones in accordance with food safety standards
- Assist with food handling duties including bussing tables, restocking supplies, and supporting kitchen operations as needed
- Follow all food safety management protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and team members
Experience
- Prior experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary practices enhances your ability to excel in this role
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is advantageous but not required; training will be provided
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Background in retail sales transactions, cashiering, or grocery store experience supports effective cash handling and math skills
- Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service with a friendly, energetic approach
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation procedures, and basic math for accurate transactions
