Duties
- Prepare and bake a wide range of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Manage early morning food preparation, ensuring all items meet food safety standards and company specifications.
- Decorate cakes and pastries with precision, showcasing creativity and attention to detail.
- Package baked goods efficiently for retail display or catering orders while maintaining freshness.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery station, adhering to food handling and safety protocols.
- Operate bakery equipment such as mixers, ovens, knives, and other kitchen tools safely and effectively.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring ingredient levels and notifying supervisors of supply needs.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food production, baking, or pastry arts within a high-volume setting.
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in cake decorating techniques.
