Duties

• Prepare dough according to established recipes, ensuring proper measurements and ingredient quality
• Shape, boil, and bake bagels with precision to achieve optimal texture and appearance
• Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, and dough cutters safely and efficiently
• Package baked goods carefully for freshness and presentation, adhering to food safety standards
• Maintain a clean workspace by regularly sanitizing surfaces, utensils, and equipment
• Monitor baking times and oven temperatures to ensure consistent product quality
• Assist with other food preparation tasks including pastry preparation, cake decorating, or catering support as needed

Requirements

• Proven experience in food production, baking, or pastry preparation within a high-volume environment
• Strong knife skills and familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely
• Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to hygiene standards
• Ability to follow recipes precisely while maintaining efficiency in a fast-paced setting
• Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and managing inventory
• Excellent attention to detail in food handling, packaging, and presentation
