The Woodlake Senior Living, located in Sacramento CA is seeking a dedicated and passionate Med Tech to provide high-quality care to the residents in our community. Responsibilities of the Med TechAdministers and documents medications/treatments as directed by residents’ physician. Documents and reports changes and observations of resident’s needs and preferences. Communicates with the health services team, physicians, other healthcare providers, and responsible parties as needed. Provide assistance with activities of daily living in a manner that supports our person-centered care philosophy. Assist in daily requirements and tasks as requested. Ensure residents are provided privacy, respect, and dignity. Follows standard precautions and infection control procedures. Completes state required training upon hire and annually. Required ExperiencePossess, at a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent. A minimum of one (1) year caregiving experience is required.Experience in a nursing home or similar healthcare or senior living.Be at least 18 years of age. Knowledge of anatomy and basic medical terminology is essential.Certified Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant certification preferred.Food Handlers Certification, First Aid Certification, Caregiver Certification and CPR Certification preferred.Basic computer skills. Must be able to speak, read, and write in the English language.
