What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Teacher/Floater position at The Wooden Shoe Nursery School?
We’re looking for a caring, energetic Assistant Teacher to support our classroom and help young children learn, grow, and thrive.
What You’ll Do:
- Support the lead teacher with fun, age-appropriate activities
- Help create a safe, nurturing classroom environment
- Assist with daily routines (meals, naps, bathroom breaks)
- Guide positive behavior and social development
- Observe and share children’s progress with the team and families
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma required; ECE coursework a plus
- Experience with young children preferred
- Patient, reliable, and team-oriented
- Passion for working with children of all abilities
