We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Lead Direct Care Support to join our team at our IDD (Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities) Residential Home. Full-time shift available:
- Monday to Friday (6:00am to 2:00pm)
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor Behavioral Health Technicians to ensure the delivery of consistent, person-centered care
- Facilitate training and ongoing education for staff on behavioral health strategies and best practices
- Support clients during community outings and recreational activities Collaborate with team members, families, and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management
- Monitor and document residents' progress, behaviors, and needs accurately and timely
- Provide direct support to residents, assisting with daily activities, behavioral interventions, and skill development
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, safety protocols, and organizational policies
- Act as a liaison between residents, families, and healthcare professionals to promote effective communication and support
- On-Call is required with this position.
- Be familiar with The Wood Group’s policy and procedures to include employee handbook.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in behavioral health or related field preferred
- Proven experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Knowledge of behavioral intervention techniques and positive behavior support strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle challenging behaviors with patience and professionalism
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks as required
