Behavioral Health Technician (PRN) – Mental Health Facility
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated PRN Behavioral Health Technician to join our mental health facility. We work as a team with the Community Centers or other agencies to provide services to clients so they can return to productive daily living in their community. Behavioral Health Technician (PRN) – Mental Health Facility
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated PRN Behavioral Health Technician to join our mental health facility. - Overnight & Daytime PRN staff ( needed for call outs)
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all residents at all times.
- Cook and serve meals. Follow the facility menu as posted.
- Responsible for completing items listed on the facility Chore Sheet as directed by the administrator.
- Responsible for assuring all residents are treated with dignity and respect.
- Responsible for the supervision of all resident medication procedures. Ensure that all residents receive their proper medication at the proper time. All narcotics will be counted and documented on each shift.

- Be familiar with The Wood Group’s policy and procedures to include employee handbook.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in behavioral health or related field preferred
- Prior experience in mental health, behavioral health, or social services is advantageous
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others
- Knowledge of behavioral health practices, safety protocols, and crisis intervention techniques
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
$17.50 per hour
