What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Operator position at The Wood Fire Cookey Group?
We are a manufacturer of live fire cooking tools and we're seeking a CNC Operator to join our team.
This position will assist our lead operator with producing, high-quality parts and components. This is a full-time position. Prior experience of two year plus is required to apply for this position. Our hours are 6:30am -3:30pm Monday-Friday
Duties:
- Set up and operate our CNC plasma table to job specifications
- Knowledge of Fusion helpful
- Maintain our standard of daily organization, machine, maintenance and cleanliness
- Load raw materials into the machine and monitor the production process
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to ensure accuracy and quality
- Grind and finish for the highest quality parts
- Perform regular detailed maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot issues that may arise during the production processCollaborate with team members to meet production goals
Skills:
- - Proficiency in operating CNC machining equipment
- - Experience with CNC programming, Fusion and operation
- - Familiarity with computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) programming software
- - Knowledge consumables and components related to HD plasma tools
- - Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- - Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- - The candidate's ability to CAD (Fusion) etc is preferredRequirements:
- - Previous experience with CNC plasma table is preferred
- - High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification is a plus
- - Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machining principles
- - Ability to operate a forklift with valid certification
- - Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- - Must be self managed with a solid work track record
Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
