Independent Contractor — Woodworker With Your Own Shop (We Send You Orders)

Already have your own woodshop? Earn supplemental income on your own schedule. The Wobbly Carpenter is a NEW website connecting local woodworkers with customers who need custom bars. We send orders to independent builders working in their own shops — and we're building our builder network from the ground up. This is a ground-floor opportunity. Set expectations: it will take time to build the network and secure steady orders. This is not instant full-time work — it's supplemental income that grows as we grow. Joining now secures your location and market: once we have a builder in your area, we won't add another. How it works: - We handle all sales and marketing for our products - Orders in your area get routed straight to you by ZIP code - You build to our plans and specs, in your own shop, on your own schedule - You deliver locally or the customer picks up from you - You get paid per completed build — take on as much or as little as you want - Payment is per completed build, made after handoff - Each builder gets their own dedicated profile page on our website showcasing their work, bio, and service area Estimate your payout: Use our Builder Payout Estimator to see how pay works — enter your materials costs to estimate your payout per build: https://thewobblycarpenter.com/pages/builder-payout-estimator Starting products: our collapsible bars (more products possible as we grow). What you need: - Your own shop space and woodworking tools — required, not optional - Real experience building furniture, cabinetry, or similar wood products - A signed craftsman agreement and a completed W-9 - A smartphone for order alerts and build photos - $1M general liability insurance (or willingness to get it) - Reliable transportation for local deliveries This is strictly 1099 independent contractor work. No shifts, no boss in your shop, no employment. You're running your own operation — we're just your order pipeline.
