Overview
The WNDR Lab is a private members club in New York City centered on longevity, human performance, and the future ofhealth. Our space is held to a hospitality standard — calm, immaculate, and effortless for every member who walks in. TheHousekeeping Associate keeps that standard intact each day, across our member areas, laundry, kitchen, and supplyoperations.
Duties
- Maintain accurate inventory of housekeeping, laundry, and kitchen/grocery supplies, restocking and flagging shortages as needed
- Keep member-facing and staff areas clean, organized, and free of clutter, including storage rooms and supply closets
- Wash, dry, fold, and store clothing and linens (towels, uniforms, member items) according to facility standards
- Receive, organize, and properly store grocery and food deliveries in coordination with food and nutrition staff
- Receive and organize other incoming deliveries (e.g., supplements, clothing/apparel, office or facility supplies), ensuring proper storage, labeling, and inventory tracking
- Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, utensils, glassware, and kitchenware following facility hygiene protocols
- Follow established safety precautions when using cleaning equipment and supplies
- Ensure cleaning and organizational schedules are followed as closely as practical
- Report all accidents, incidents, or maintenance issues to your supervisor, no matter how minor
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Prior housekeeping experience preferred (healthcare, hospitality, or membership-facility environment a plus)
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal work instructions in English
- Comfortable using standard cleaning equipment and products
- Ability to work amicably with coworkers and members, maintaining a warm, professional demeanor
- Must maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing any assigned uniform
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to move frequently throughout the workday, including kneeling, stooping, crouching, and repetitive motion
- Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 lbs to a height of 5 feet, and carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet
Pay: $25.46 - $30.66 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
