Duties and Responsibilities

Perform thermal cabinet analysis and sealed-system performance evaluations to optimize refrigeration efficiency and reliability.

Design refrigeration circuits, control algorithms, and component selections, including refrigerants and mechanical/electrical elements.

Ensure full compliance with DoE, NAMA, UL/CE, safety, and environmental requirements.

Troubleshoot, validate, and refine prototypes; support Pilot builds, Production Start-up, and market production issues.

Lead product certification efforts for all New Product Development (NPD) and Continuous Improvement (CI) projects.

Maintain awareness of evolving UL, CE, DoE, and NAMA regulatory requirements and integrate them into product design.

Create, manage, and maintain all engineering and compliance documentation.

Coordinate with UL/ISO auditors and external certification bodies for regulatory approvals.

Plan, schedule, and oversee UL and DoE testing for certification; design and execute test plans for agency approval.

Verify, track, and maintain all regulatory and agency compliance certifications.
