We are seeking an energetic, enthusiastic, and dedicated Spanish teacher to join our Lower School faculty for a ¾-time maternity leave replacement (approximately October 2026-March 2027). The successful candidate will teach Spanish to students in grades 6, 7 and 8, bringing creativity, warmth, and a genuine love of language to the classroom.

Key Responsibilities
- Teach Spanish to 6th, 7th and 8th grade students using engaging, age-appropriate pedagogical approaches
- Collaborate with Lower School colleagues to support student learning and community life
- Integrate technology thoughtfully and effectively into instruction
- Contribute to the school's vibrant community through active participation in school events and initiatives
- Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment where all students feel seen and valued
- Native or near-native fluency in Spanish; strong fluency in English
- Bachelor's degree in World Languages, Education, or a related field
- 2–3 years of classroom teaching experience at the middle school level
- Demonstrated ability to employ varied, developmentally appropriate teaching strategies
- Commitment to equity, inclusion, and community engagement
- Master's degree in Education, World Languages, or a related field
- Experience teaching in a collaborative, mission-driven independent school environment
- Familiarity with current best practices in world language acquisition and pedagogy
