Role Description
The Freelance Videographer is a contract role responsible for planning, shooting, and delivering high-quality video content that supports clients’ social media and digital marketing strategies. This hybrid position is based in Burlington, VT, with a mix of on-site shoots and some work-from-home for pre-production planning, editing coordination, and virtual meetings. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with the creative team to interpret project briefs, preparing equipment and lighting setups, capturing video footage at client locations or studio spaces, and ensuring visual consistency with brand guidelines. The Freelance Videographer will also organize and transfer footage, provide input on shot lists and storyboards, and communicate proactively about timelines and production needs.
Qualifications
- Strong video production skills, including planning shoots and managing on-site logistics.
- Proficiency in camera operation and use of professional camera equipment.
- Experience with lighting setups and techniques for various environments.
