Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Front of House Manager at The Winery at Sovereign Estate, located in Waconia, MN. The Front of House Manager will oversee daily operations of the tasting room and bistro to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Key responsibilities include managing and supporting front-of-house staff, coordinating events, maintaining service excellence, and ensuring smooth operations. The role involves scheduling, staff training, inventory management, and collaborating with other departments to optimize customer enjoyment and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Proven customer service and hospitality skills, with a focus on creating a positive guest experience
- Experience in food & beverage service, including wine knowledge, is required
- Ability to manage, train, and motivate staff to ensure excellent team performance
- Proficient in POS systems and Reservation systems
- Sales experience and ability to meet business goals, including promoting wine sales and event bookings
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Experience in the hospitality or event management industry is an advantage
