This position follows established safety and quality standards and works closely with Packaging, Quality, Cellar, and Winery teams to ensure equipment and product integrity.

Shift: Graveyard — 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM
Essential Functions
- Clean and rinse tanks, hoses, pipelines, and bottling equipment to ensure they are free of residue and ready for production.
- Perform internal and external equipment cleaning using automated systems (CIP/SIP) and manual methods.
- Use water, approved cleaning agents(acid, caustic chemical cycles) and power washing equipment to maintain production areas and surfaces.
- Inspect equipment during cleaning to confirm proper condition and readiness for use.
- Set up, support, and clean bottling lines before, during, and after production runs.
- Assist with wine movement from tanks to bottling lines.
- Measure tanks and follow detailed work instructions to complete tasks accurately.
- Support filter cleaning, filter changes (dependent on filter plugging or high differential pressure), and basic equipment upkeep (12 hour filter SIP’s).
- Complete cleaning logs, production records, and quality documentation accurately and on time.
- Perform additional mix per Quality to get wine into specifications.
- Follow all safety and quality procedures, including proper use of PPE and handling of cleaning materials.
- Maintain organized, hazard-free work areas to support safe operations.
- Communicate effectively and collaborate with Packaging, Quality, Cellar, and Winery teams.
- With training, assist in troubleshooting equipment, advanced cleaning processes, and additional wine operations tasks.
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in winery operations, bottling, food production, manufacturing, or cleaning-related roles is a plus.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
- Basic English reading, writing, and communication skills.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn equipment processes.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50–100 pounds.
- Stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Work in indoor and outdoor environments with varying temperatures, moisture, and noise levels.
- Safely work around machinery, cleaning agents, and moving equipment.
- Operate hoses, pressure washers, and other cleaning tools.
- Wear required PPE, including gloves, eye/face protection, and respirators as needed.
- Hourly Pay Range Posted: $21.86 - $24.00/hr.
- Actual compensation will be based on factors such as experience; skills, knowledge, and abilities; education; and other position related factors.
