The Wine Cellar Red Bank is hiring a Full-Time Retail Wine Assistant Manager to support daily store operations and assist with eCommerce and fulfillment.

Rate: $19.62 – $20.77 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Full-Time | 31-36 hours per week, Weekends are a MUST!
This is a long-term, permanent position (not seasonal).
No phone calls or walk-ins.

Responsibilities
- Support store leadership with daily retail operations
- Assist in training, scheduling, and supporting store staff
- Deliver excellent customer service and wine recommendations
- Assist with inventory, merchandising, and product displays
- Perform opening/closing procedures and banking as needed
- Pick, pack, and ship online orders; receive and process returns
- Maintain a clean and organized stockroom and sales floor
- Act as manager on duty when scheduled
Qualifications
- 1 year of retail or supervisory experience (management preferred)
- Wine knowledge or willingness to learn (preferred)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Must be 21 years old
- Able to lift and move 40 lb boxes repeatedly
- Able to stand for 8 hours per shift
- Customer-focused and reliable
- Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
Store Hours
- Monday: 11 AM – 8 PM
- Tuesday–Wednesday: 11 AM – 9 PM
- Thursday: 10 AM – 9 PM
- Friday–Saturday: 10 AM – 10 PM
- Sunday: 11 AM – 8 PM
