Position Overview
The Dishwasher is responsible for cleaning and maintaining all dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment. You will also assist with basic cleaning tasks, help keep work areas stocked and organized, and support the kitchen team during busy service. This role is fast paced, hands on, and a key part of our nightly operation.
Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans throughout service
- Maintain an organized and clean dish area at all times
- Keep kitchen floors, trash, and work areas clean and safe
- Assist with basic prep tasks when needed
- Support the BOH team by restocking plates, pans, and cookware
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
- Communicate clearly with cooks and support staff
- Complete closing duties such as breaking down workstations and taking out trash
Requirements
- No experience required, but kitchen experience is a plus
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods
- Must be reliable and able to work in a fast paced environment
- Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
- Must be available nights, weekends, and holidays. These are required parts of the job.
