Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble cold food items for banquets and events, including salads, dressings, hors d’oeuvres, cold appetizers, charcuterie, canapés, and plated desserts as assigned.
• Execute banquet menus according to standardized recipes, event orders, and presentation guidelines.
• Assist with large-scale food production, plating, and garnishing to ensure timely service.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the cold food preparation area in compliance with food safety standards.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure consistency and quality across all cold food offerings.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to ensure smooth operations.
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Food Prep or similar role
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
