Join The Wind Law Group, PLLC, a Florida boutique law firm located in the Tri-County area (Miami-Fort. Lauderdale-West Palm), as a remote-based Associate Litigation Attorney. We are seeking a dedicated professional with 5 years of experience in first party property damage insurance matters. Salary is $90,000.00-$100,000.00 with annual performance-based bonus.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Represent clients in State Circuit /County Court and Federal court
- Prepare and draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support legal proceedings
- Advise clients on legal issues and provide guidance on potential outcomes
- Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients
- Attend depositions, hearings, and trials
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files
Experience:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the Florida bar association
- Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on first party property damage insurance civil litigation
- Strong knowledge of civil procedure and evidence rules
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
