Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Tax Controversy Attorney located in The Woodlands, TX. The attorney will represent clients in resolving federal and state tax controversies, including audits, appeals, and litigation. Responsibilities include researching and applying tax laws, attending administrative hearings, drafting legal documents, and providing strategic counsel on complex tax and business matters.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and expertise in Tax Law and Tax Controversy
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and current bar admission
- Demonstrated ability to work on complex legal matters and collaborate in a team setting
- Exceptional communication and analytical skills
- Experience with IRS proceedings and state-level tax disputes is highly beneficial
