Role Overview
The Event Specialist creates intentional, high-quality experiences by thoughtfully planning, organizing and executing events while building strong, trust-filled relationships with each guest and the team.
Core Functions
- Serve guests by building relationships while detailing and planning events
- Respond to guest communications promptly while collaborating over event details, addressing questions, and adapting to last-minute changes to ensure a seamless experience
- Schedule and execute details meetings
- Serve as day of coordinator and vendor contact for select events
- Up-sell event space, catering, and add-ons to help achieve sales goals
- Maintain a high level of organization across all administrative tasks
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Vision for near, mid-range and far as well as hearing for low, medium, and high pitch.
- Superior communication skills with co-workers, guests and vendors.
- Requires physical ability for standing, sitting, crouching, kneeling, frequent walking, reaching above head & below waist.
- To be considered for this position, you must be at least 18 years old in accordance with company policies and applicable labor laws.
- Ability to lift 5 - 20 pounds
Hours & Schedule
- 40 - 45 hours per week
- Days and weekends required
