Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality, personalized care to residents in an Adult Home. The ideal candidate will have experience working with seniors and will be committed to enhancing residents' quality of life through attentive support and compassionate caregiving.
Duties
- Help residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing or minor dressing.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning tasks.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to promote social engagement and mental well-being.
- Follow the direction of the lead PCA.
- Have daytime availability, 7a-1 or 3pm.
Requirements
- Prior experience in long-term care, nursing homes, or assisted living.
- Certification in First Aid.
- Ability to help with ADLs and provide personal care in a respectful manner.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to pass background checks and meet health screening requirements necessary for caregiving roles. This includes a 2-part PPD test.
