What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Officer position at The Williamsport Home?
The Williamsport Home is currently seeking candidates for a 3rd shift Security position.
This position works 11pm-7am, weekdays/weekends/holidays as assigned.
PURPOSE:
To provide support for The Williamsport Home by monitoring the campus to keep staff and residents safe. This position will also help in screening all employees/visitors upon entry into the facility. This position will also provide support to the maintenance department completing various tasks throughout the shift as assigned.
Qualifications:EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- High school graduate or GED equivalency preferred.
- Experience in a health-related facility preferred.
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
- Must demonstrate strong verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors and government agencies/personnel and the general public.
- Must successfully complete the required criminal background check and health requirements set forth by the policies of the facility
