Job Summary

William Everett is currently seeking a dynamic Project Manager that is ready for a challenging, rewarding long-term engagement! The ideal candidate will lead the monitoring, analyses and oversight of projects and programs to ensure they meet requirements, compliance, and objectives. Qualified candidates are expected to have the experience and ability to guide and oversee processes, policies, plans and any other project management staff assignments and responsibilities. This individual will have an opportunity to collaborate with program leaders to define, prioritize, and develop projects and programs that will significantly impact families in Illinois. 

Requirements

  • Experience with full project life cycle ownership for successful project delivery including leading implementation initiatives from initiation to deployment.
  • Ability to manage all aspects of related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives.
  • Creative and analytical in a problem-solving environment, demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence.
  • Capable of leading and participating in the establishment of processes, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization.
  • Able to communicate across leadership to provide status reports regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues. 
  • Motivated to establish credibility by building and maintaining relationships through engagement with business leaders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Administration, or a related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
  • 8 years of experience in project/program management, preferably with a focus on technology implementations and delivery
  • Previous experience in management role preferred
  • Strong leader, comfortable engaging with people at all levels; successfully manages via influence
  • Knowledge and experience with the software development life cycle; experience in streaming media software preferred
  • Experience developing and managing engineering or product portfolio planning and tracking processes and cadences
  • Exceptional communication skills - able to successfully adapt when necessary and leverage strong listening skills to inform others of project changes, updates, and issues
  • Highly collaborative, and partner-oriented professionally, working effectively with multiple cross-functional teams.

  • Able to commute to the Springfield, IL area
  • Willing to work in office
