What are the responsibilities and job description for the WELDER Aluminum (FL) position at THE WILL-BURT COMPANY?
SUMMARY: Fits, and welds fabricated, cast, and forged components to assemble by preforming the following duties. Also, assures parts comply to drawing specifications. This will be for welding aluminum.
Monday-Friday 6am-2:45pm, possible overtime. $20/hour pending experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures
- Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements
- Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g. cut material with powered saws to match measurements)
- Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded
- Align components using calipers, rulers etc. and clamp pieces
- Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead)
- Lays out, positions, aligns, and fits components together.
- Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding.
- Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws
- Repairs products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts.
- Clean work area
- Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety
- Other duties may be assigned.
- This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
