Key Responsibilities
- Review incoming documents for clarity, legibility, and completeness prior to scanning.
- Organize and prepare physical files, including removing staples, paper clips, and other bindings.
- Ensure documents are properly ordered and ready for processing.
- Operate and maintain scanning machines to capture high-quality digital images.
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and escalate larger technical problems when necessary.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of scanning equipment to ensure smooth operations.
- Index and categorize scanned documents for accurate retrieval within the document management system.
- Verify scanned files against original documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Perform quality control checks, re-scanning documents as needed.
- Maintain digital and physical records of scanned materials.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience with scanning equipment, document imaging, or records management preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with document management systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot minor technical issues.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Office-based position with frequent handling of physical files and equipment.
- May require standing or sitting for extended periods.
- May require lifting up to 25lbs
- Hourly Rate: $21-$24 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
