Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and ensuring timely delivery of drinks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes; assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the Aloha POS system.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations within the food industry.
- Stay updated on drink trends and menu offerings to provide informed recommendations to guests.
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience is preferred; fine dining experience is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs effectively.
- Knowledge of food service practices within the restaurant industry.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous but not required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
