Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks including, but not limited to:

  • Maintaining accurate financial records by recording daily financial transactions in accounting software.
  • Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, including processing invoices, receipts, and vendor payments.
  • Performing monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Assisting with payroll processing.
  • Preparing financial reports such as budgets, income statements, and balance sheets for management review.
  • Providing general administrative and clerical support, such as answering phones, managing office supplies, and organizing files.
  • Communicating with vendors and clients regarding billing and payments to resolve discrepancies.
  • Assisting with month-end and year-end close processes and supporting external accountants during audits.

Qualifications and Skills

Required:

  • Proven experience in a bookkeeping or accounting support role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • QuickBooks experience is a must and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Preferred:

  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience in the Food and Beverage/ Restaurant industry

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 30 per week

Work Location: In person

Salary : $23 - $27
