Job description
The Wheel Specialist is one of the largest wheel repair companies on Long Island. We are hiring a tire technician who will jack up cars & remove wheels as part of repairs. Prefer to have at least 2-year experience, and a valid driver's license. We provide services to auto dealerships and Body Shops. No CDL Required, company van provided as well as a phone & gas card. All tools are supplied by the company. Looking for a motivated self-starter, must be able to lift 75 lbs. Weekly salary. Paid sick time, Holiday’s & Vacation.
-Qualifications: PREFER 2 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
Experience Jacking up car’s and removing wheels.
Experience working in or with car dealerships & Body shops is helpful.
Must have good eyesight or corrected vision and be mechanically inclined.
Good organizational skills and strong customer service skills are required.
Must possess a valid driver's license for state of residence and have an excellent driving record.
Responsibilities include:
Inspect Used Car inventory for damaged wheels.
Be able to remove wheels from vehicles.
You must be able to communicate with different department managers in the auto dealership.
Physical responsibilities include:
Must be physically able to remove wheels, must be able to sit, kneel, crouch, and bend frequently.
Must have the ability to lift 75 pounds.
Must have a good Motor Vehicle Driving Record.
