What are the responsibilities and job description for the Store Manager position at The Wheat Collection?
The Store Manager for WHEAT Nantucket is expected to be a strong representation of company values and standards. The ideal candidate will be passionate about luxury fashion and have a deep knowledge of the brands we carry including Zimmerman, Missoni, Agolde, Re/Done, Citizens of Humanity, Naadam, Aviator Nation, and more.
In addition, the store manager will need to posses the skills to educate team members and guests on all items that we carry in store ranging from fine jewelry, luxury handbags and our own Wheat Collection line that includes luxury loungewear, candles, and fragrances.
The Nantucket Store Manager will need to have previous retail management experience to lead their team in reaching monthly store sales goals, maintaining visual displays including cleanliness, and a constant stream of education and empowerment. Prior experience in supervising a large team, cash handling, register operations, receiving, processing and managing inventory is a must.
This is an in store position and the candidate must be able to work with, and guide their team in the store. The Store Manager will have constant remote support and continued education from the Home Office Team in all aspects of Management from Human Resources to Operations. WHEAT Nantucket is a seasonal location and is open April through December.
