Traffic Control Manager

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Traffic Control Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of construction sites by managing traffic flow and providing clear directions to drivers and pedestrians. This position requires a strong understanding of traffic planning and operation and construction site protocols, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with team members and the public.

Responsibilities

• Direct traffic around construction sites to ensure safety for workers and the public.
• Operate heavy equipment such as TMA and Stake Body Tucks.
• Collaborate with construction crews to facilitate smooth operations on-site while maintaining safety standards.
• Monitor site conditions and report any hazards or issues to supervisors promptly.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines related to traffic control on construction sites.
• Maintain clear communication with team members regarding traffic patterns, equipment operation, and site activities.

Requirements

• Proven experience setting up lane closures by the MUTCD Standards.
• Familiarity with construction site protocols and utility locating practices is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to recognize potential safety hazards.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and the public.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety procedures.
• Valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to heavy equipment operation are a plus.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
