POSITION PURPOSE

The right candidate for this very important role will be friendly, outgoing, professional, have a positive demeanor and excellent communication skills. You should be able to delegate effectively, demonstrate initiative, take ownership of issues and have good problem resolution skills. The ideal candidate for this role will be organized and self-motivated and must be able to work on own with little or no supervision. This position will act as the Manager on Duty during the overnight shift. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys working independently and desires an overnight shift.

Essential Functions
Regular attendance in conformance with the Hotel's standards, which may be established from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.
Upon employment, all employees are required to fully comply with the Hotel's rules and regulations for the safe and effective operation of the hotel's facilities. Employees who violate hotel rules and regulations will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

Experience
High school or equivalent education required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Two to four years experience in Front Office/Housekeeping/Guest Services, including at least two years Night Auditor experience preferred.

Essential Functions
- Able to perform all front desk job duties
- Responsible for the reconciliation and completion of all daily front desk and outlet work
- Verify all direct bill rooms are set up properly
- Make adjustments to house accounts as needed
- Perform the property management system night audit to change to new day
- Run and distribute reports
- Key in sales into MDR program in order to report sales to corporate
- Process credit cards and send batch to the bank
- Communicate regularly with accounting to go over any balancing issues or problems with reports
- As Manager on Duty, handle any guest complaints or situations that need immediate attention
- Communicate regularly with the Front Office Manager to pass on any agent errors that need to be handled or show need for retraining
- Know all procedures for emergency situations
