What will you do?
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks to keep guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces in optimal condition, including painting, grout repair, and filter replacements.
- Inspect and maintain plumbing systems proactively addressing issues such as clogged drains and leaks before they impact guest experience.
- Carry out routine carpentry tasks as they pertain to preventative maintenance, like repairing shelves, hooks, and closet rods.
- Service and repair small equipment used for property maintenance to prevent breakdowns and extend lifespan.
- Regularly check tools and equipment for proper function, organize the maintenance room, and ensure readiness for scheduled tasks.
- Must be able to safely operate and drive a company vehicle.
- All other duties as assigned.
More about you
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid driver license with a clean driving record.
- No experience required, but eager to learn and grow in the company.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for hospitality.
Physical requirements
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.
- Standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling and repetitive movements for length of shift.
- Possible exposure to variable temperatures, including extreme heat and cold, depending on season.
