| DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION | • Must be able to fix cross ups as they occur. • Must have good hand and eye coordination. • Must be able to recognize the different sizes and lengths in wood as well as the different grades. • Ensures equipment operates properly by completing daily cleanup tasks on and around equipment. • Ensure products meet Thomasville quality specifications. • Ensure sticks are properly placed in stacks. • Ensures good stack quality. | ||

| PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS | • Ability to lift at least 40 pounds. • Ability to work from elevated positions using required safety gear and procedures. • Ability to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for extended periods of time. • Able to work in a variety of environmental conditions. | ||
| EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS | • High School Diploma or GED required. | ||
| ADDITIONAL COMMENTS | Preferred Experience: • Driving and operating a mobile equipment such as front end loader, skid steer or forklift within an industrial or manufacturing environment. • Basic computer skills. • Experience working in lumber or wood products industry and/or manufacturing. • Experience troubleshooting equipment. • Sawmill experience preferred. | ||
