At West Texas Rehab, cleanliness is more than a task—it’s an important part of creating a safe, welcoming environment for our patients, families, employees, and visitors. As a Housekeeper, you’ll play an essential role in keeping our Center sanitary, orderly, and inviting.

What You'll Do

• Clean and maintain assigned areas through washing, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Keep restrooms clean, sanitary, and well maintained.
• Empty trash containers and maintain clean, orderly spaces.
• Clean interior and exterior windows.
• Use cleaning supplies and chemicals safely and according to directions.
• Stock supply rooms and help ensure adequate supplies are available.
• Arrange tables and chairs and assist with meeting and event preparation.
• Report unsafe conditions or facility concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
• Unclog minor sink and toilet stoppages as needed.
• Respond to changing workload needs while staying productive and on task.
• Follow all safety precautions and proper lifting practices.
• Attend department meetings and required in-services.
• Help train new employees as needed.
