What You'll Do
- Clean and maintain assigned areas through washing, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and dusting.
- Keep restrooms clean, sanitary, and well maintained.
- Empty trash containers and maintain clean, orderly spaces.
- Clean interior and exterior windows.
- Use cleaning supplies and chemicals safely and according to directions.
- Stock supply rooms and help ensure adequate supplies are available.
- Arrange tables and chairs and assist with meeting and event preparation.
- Report unsafe conditions or facility concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
- Unclog minor sink and toilet stoppages as needed.
- Respond to changing workload needs while staying productive and on task.
- Follow all safety precautions and proper lifting practices.
- Attend department meetings and required in-services.
- Help train new employees as needed.
