Key Responsibilities
- Perform quality MRI procedures using appropriate technical and safety methods
- Promote a professional environment and contribute to training and development of team members and students
- Monitor compliance with regulatory and quality assurance standards
- Manage equipment and supplies efficiently
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor in all patient and team interactions
- Support and uphold departmental policies, safety protocols, and documentation standards
Education & Experience
- Completion of a formal education program in radiography accredited by an ARRT-acceptable mechanism
- Current certification and registration as R.T.(R), ARRT
- New graduates without ARRT certification must obtain registry as R.T.(R)(ARRT) within one year of graduation
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
- Basic knowledge of radiographic and MRI equipment and procedures
- Familiarity with radiology information systems (RIS, HIS, and PACS preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients and healthcare teams
