What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative position at The West Agency?
Our team is growing, and we are hiring! We are looking to add an additional full time Customer Service Representative at our Farm Bureau insurance office located in Three Rivers. This person serves as the first contact for clients on the phone and in the office.
No insurance experience necessary! We’ll train and help with licensing. Have a P & C license? Even better!
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day service tasks of policy changes, billing questions, new business submissions and assist in the claims process
- Resolve service issues by clarifying the customer's concern, determining the cause of the issue, explaining the best solution and ensuring resolution
- Maintain documentation of all client interactions
- Participate in formal and informal meetings as needed
- Other duties as required including general office maintenance
Skills and Qualifications
- An active P/C Resident Producer License for the state of Michigan is a plus and will be required for this position. If the candidate is not licensed, the agency will work with the candidate to assist in obtaining licensing- including paid studying.

- Demonstrate excellent time management skills with a personal accountability mindset
