Key functions may include organizing and coordinating office administration and procedures, bookkeeping activities, and customer service to ensure effective and efficient day-to-day operations.

What Your Day Looks Like
The Procurement Administrator for Risser Grain will help maintain the daily operations of the office and provide support for the Procurement Administrative Supervisor. Key functions may include organizing and coordinating office administration and procedures, bookkeeping activities, and customer service to ensure effective and efficient day-to-day operations.
Essential Job Functions
- Assist the grain team and grain-related processes by entering daily grain tickets, weekly grain settlements, and account reconciliations
- Manage fertilizer transactions, including but not limited to invoicing, stock additions/adjustments, and inventory voucher maintenance.
- Process hauler invoices and related payments
- Support accounts payable-related processes, including processing expense vouchers, checks, and ACH files.
- Support accounts receivable processes, including entering and applying customer payments.
- Depositing/reconciling checks and handling payments from lockbox.
- Distribute and manage monthly finance charges to customers.
- Support business and financial reporting needs.
- Answer telephones and greet visitors
- Oversee an efficient office environment, including purchasing office supplies and directing internal communications.
- Perform other duties as necessary
- Excellent customer service and communication skills required
- Capable of multitasking and handling various tasks effectively
- Demonstrates critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrates positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team and with all levels of the organization.
- Proficient written communication skills in business correspondence
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work under pressure
- Attention to detail - ensure accuracy when completing tasks

- High School Diploma
- Minimum of 1-2 years' experience working in an office setting and a customer service role
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs
- Flexibility to work extended hours to meet seasonal demands of the business
- Must be able to spend extensive time using a computer and phone to meet daily job requirements.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs. on occasion
