Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, heavy equipment, ready mix concrete trucks
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on vehicles and equipment
- Repair and replace faulty parts, components, or systems
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines and heavy equipment operation
- Familiarity with industrial equipment maintenance and repair
- Ability to diagnose and repair brake systems, shocks/struts, HVAC systems, transmissions, and other mechanical components
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
