Role Overview
Reporting to the Senior Advisor, the Lead Advisor provides wealth management strategy for clients and business growth services for the firm at large. This individual works with clients to construct financial plans and investment strategies that eliminate the complexities of multigenerational wealth. The Lead Advisor is also accountable for contributing to firm growth through the development of new prospective client relationships and the ongoing leadership and development of Wealth Management Strategists (WMS).
Responsibilities & Expectations
Client Relationships (60%)
- Coordinate, track, and follow through on client communications, maintaining a historical log via appropriate technology.
- Lead client meetings, with support from WMS staff before, during, and after.
- Construct financial plans using firm-approved financial planning tools, with assistance from WMS.
Business Support (20%)
- Actively engage in Investment Policy Committee Market Updates to support client conversations.
- Lead and manage recurring client-facing projects and internal committees (e.g., Pricing, Process).
Business Growth (20%)
- Meet with prospective clients and efficiently price and close qualified opportunities.
- Develop WMS knowledge, talent, and confidence to cultivate future Lead Advisors.
- Nurture and grow existing client referral relationships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- CFP designation required
- 5 years of experience in a Wealth Management Strategist role, or equivalent industry experience as a Lead Advisor
- Experience with Salesforce CRM, Office 365, eMoney, and Orion (or comparable platforms)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly illustrate complex financial concepts and strategies
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to delegate and monitor strategy across a client subset
- Demonstrated ability to lead, educate, and collaborate with advisors, WMS staff, and operations teams

Compensation & Benefits
This role offers a base salary of $85,000 – $100,000, commensurate with experience, plus a performance-based bonus tied to firm revenue.
The bonus structure includes a 7% share of a 20% firm revenue pool — with estimated first-year total compensation in the range of $160,000 – $180,000.
