Position Title: Videographer/Photographer (Media Arts Contractor)
Organization: The Well of Restoration, Inc.A Georgia-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to holistic mental health and wellness for youth, families, and communities.
Position Overview:
The Well of Restoration, Inc. seeks a creative and skilled Videographer/Photographer (Media Arts Contractor) to capture and produce high-quality visual content that tells the story of our programs, community impact, and mission. The contractor will work closely with leadership to develop multimedia materials for social media, website, events, and documentary storytelling.
This role is ideal for a self-driven professional with strong creative direction, storytelling skills, and the ability to manage all aspects of production — from filming to editing — across diverse environments and populations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capture high-quality photo and video content during events, programs, and interviews.
- Edit and produce compelling multimedia content for marketing, social media, and fundraising campaigns.
- Collaborate with the leadership and communications team on content planning and storyboarding.
- Manage, organize, and archive all digital media assets.
- Ensure all content aligns with The Well of Restoration’s branding, mission, and trauma-informed approach.
- Utilize lighting, sound, and editing techniques to create professional-grade visuals.
- Produce short reels, highlight videos, promotional clips, and documentary footage.
- Maintain and care for personal photography and video equipment.
- Adhere to confidentiality, HIPAA, and consent guidelines when filming or photographing clients or participants.
Qualifications:
- Education/Experience: Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum 2–3 years of professional experience in videography, photography, or media production.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with tools and programs such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Lightroom, Photoshop, After Effects, and equivalent editing software.
- Portfolio: Must provide a digital portfolio showcasing relevant work.
- References: Three (3) professional references required.
- Availability: Must be available for daytime, evening, and weekend projects as needed.
- Equipment: Must possess and maintain personal equipment for photography and videography (camera, lighting, audio, etc.).
- Other Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of digital marketing, visual storytelling, and nonprofit media strategies.
- Comfortable working in community-based settings and diverse populations.
Contract Type:
