Position Summary

The Community Systems & Data Manager is responsible for developing, maintaining, and continuously improving the data, technology, and reporting infrastructure for ConnectWell: Behavioral Health and Community Partnership Network. This position builds and maintains the technology systems, data processes, and reporting tools ConnectWell relies on to support project implementation, referrals, community partnerships, evaluation, and continuous quality improvement.

The Community Systems & Data Manager is responsible for building and improving the technology and data infrastructure that supports ConnectWell: Behavioral Health and Community Partnership Network. This position manages the systems and tools used for referrals, reporting, evaluation, and project implementation.

A major focus of this role is making technology work for people instead of creating more work for them. The Community Systems & Data Manager will look for opportunities to simplify processes, automate repetitive tasks, improve access to information, connect systems when possible, and build tools that support long-term success.

ConnectWell is an initiative focused on strengthening behavioral health and community safety across Madison and Platte Counties. The project brings community partners together to improve coordination, strengthen referral pathways, expand access to resources, and build capacity across the region. Together, these efforts are intended to create a stronger, more connected system of support for the communities we serve.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, information systems, public health, health administration, business intelligence, ora relatedfield. Equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
  • Experience with data management, analytics, reporting, information systems, or process improvement preferred.
  • Experience in behavioral health, healthcare, public health, nonprofit, government, grant-funded, or community-based settings is a plus.

Data & Technology Skills

  • Strong ability to organize,validate, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources.
  • Ability to translate data into clear reports, dashboards, visualizations, and practical information.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 and tools such as Power BI, SharePoint, Microsoft Lists, Forms, Power Automate, and Teams.
  • Ability to design practical workflows,identifyopportunities for automation, and troubleshoot system or data issues.
  • Strong attention to data quality, accuracy, consistency, and documentation.

Professional Skills

  • Strong organizational,project-management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to explain technical or data-related information in plain language.
  • Comfortable working independently whileremaininghighly collaborative.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Data Systems & Technology

  • Develop,maintain, and improveConnectWell’sshared data and technology infrastructure.
  • Serve as the primary internal owner of project systems using Microsoft Lists, SharePoint, Forms, Power BI, Power Automate, Teams, and other approved tools.
  • Work with consultants during system design and implementation, thenmaintainand improve systems long term.
  • Develop tools for tracking project activities, partnerships, referrals, outreach, training, Connection Prescriptions, resources, and performance measures.
  • Identifyopportunities to automate repetitive tasks, reduce duplicate data entry, simplify workflows, and improve system usability.
  • Troubleshoot system issues andmaintainclear technical documentation.

2. Performance Measurement & Reporting

  • Establish andmaintainreliable processes for collectingConnectWellperformance data.
  • Monitor progress toward project goals, benchmarks, andrequiredSAMHSA performance measures.
  • Review data for completeness, accuracy, consistency, and reporting issues.
  • Prepare andvalidateinformation needed for quarterly and annual grant reporting.
  • Maintain clear definitions and documentation for project measures and reporting processes.

3. Data Analysis & Dashboards

  • Develop andmaintainPower BI dashboards and other reporting tools.
  • Analyze project and community data toidentifytrends, gaps, barriers, and opportunities.
  • Translate complex information into clear visualizations and summaries for staff, leadership, community partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Support geographic, demographic, referral, service-access, and community-level analysis whenappropriate.

4. Referral, Connection Prescription & Resource Systems

  • Develop and maintain systems for tracking referrals, referral outcomes, and Connection Prescription activities.
  • Collaborate with Community Engagement Specialists to improve referral workflows andsupportingtechnology.
  • Work with the Community Resource Platform Developer to design andmaintainsystems for organizing community resource information.
  • Monitor resource data for accuracy, duplication, outdated information, and missing information.
  • Help ensure the public-facing resource platform and internalConnectWellsystems work togetherseamlessly.

5. Evaluation, Quality Improvement & Process Improvement

  • Support implementation of theConnectWellevaluation plan and coordinate data collection for evaluation activities.
  • Assistwith surveys, assessments, inventories, follow-up tools, and other evaluation instruments.
  • Use project data toidentifyopportunities for continuous quality improvement.
  • Evaluate workflows for unnecessary steps, duplicate work, manual processes, and opportunities for simplification.
  • Gather feedback from staff and community partners to improve forms, dashboards, workflows, and other systems.
  • Help build sustainable processes thatremainuseful beyond the grant period.

6. Data Stewardship & Support

  • Maintainappropriate confidentialityand security when working with project, partner, referral, and participant information.
  • Maintaindocumentation related to data sources, reporting logic, system ownership, access, and retention.
  • Provide technical guidance and training onConnectWellsystems and data processes.
  • Support otherConnectWelland organizational initiatives as assigned and consistent with the scope of the position.

Work Environment & Requirements

  • Position may be performed in person, hybrid, or remotely depending on the approved work arrangement.

  • Regular computer-based workutilizingMicrosoft 365, data, reporting, analytics, and technology systems.

  • Reliable internet connection andappropriate remotework environmentrequiredfor remote employees.

  • Some evening or nontraditional hours may occasionally be necessary based on project needs or reporting deadlines.

Salary : $80,000
