About Us:
We are a faith-based, family-centered Christian daycare serving children ages 6 weeks to 6 years. Our nurturing environment emphasizes love, safety, early learning, and spiritual values. We are seeking a caring, reliable Assistant Teacher to join our team.
Pay & Schedule:
- Starting pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
- Full-time (hours and schedule to be discussed during interview; weekday availability possible)

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist lead teachers in planning and implementing age‑appropriate activities and curriculum for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
- Supervise and engage children to ensure a safe, loving, and structured environment
- Support feeding, diapering, toileting, napping, and daily routines for infants and young children
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom and follow health/safety guidelines
- Communicate respectfully with families about children’s daily activities and needs
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and occasional family events
- Uphold the Christian values and mission of the center in interactions with children, families, and staff
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with young children (infant/toddler and preschool experience a plus)
- Compassionate, patient, and team-oriented attitude
- Ability to lift/move children and classroom materials as needed
- Current CPR/First Aid and state-required childcare certifications preferred or willingness to obtain
- Must pass background checks and comply with state licensing requirements
